Welcome! My name is Emilia Wollheim, I am a BABCP accredited Psychotherapist, specialising in anxiety focussed therapy. This page covers a little bit more about my approach, alongside some further information about my training and areas of interest.

With over 20 years experience working across the voluntary and public sectors, supporting individuals at their most vulnerable and through life transitions, I take a compassion focussed approach to therapy. I am accredited with the BABCP as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist, meaning the majority of my work is focussed around Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also incorporate elements of;

With an accredited diploma in Nutrition Coaching, I also have a firm understanding of how what we eat impacts how we feel (and even what we do). For clients who are interested, I hope to soon offer opportunities to include conversations around diet, meal plans and mindful approaches to eating. This can be of huge benefit alongside talking therapies.

Approach
​
Everyone deserves the understanding and tools to live their most meaningful life. My goal is to support individuals to identify and take steps towards being the best versions of themselves. This includes recognising and releasing thinking styles and behaviours that are no longer serving you. It also involves being proactive in pursuit of the life you do want - embracing your values and dreams - whilst appreciating the life and moments directly in front of you. I always use an approach and pace tailored to your unique temperament and stage of life. Life will always have challenges - including the perennial challenge of change itself - but lets work to not have your own thoughts and responses be a part of the difficulty.
